Walking At Sundown!

After being at school all day it was nice to take a walk after returning home. Once again we walked to a part of Nantes I didn't see before and as always it is nice to make new experiences. It was warmish and the sun was partly shining. I am enjoying the spring here, maybe even more since I know how my friends and family in Denmark and Berlin all still have to endure the snow.

Closing In On Spring!

Nantes is getting more and more springlike these days and it feels great to wear smaller shoes and be able to sit outside and enjoy a blue sky. I have been busy working and taking walks around town to photograph all the great sprouting flowers. Currently I am working on a photo book and I am really exited to go into the workshop this coming week and assemble it.

L'école

Besides my apartment this is where I spend most of my time.

Nantes On Film!

Today it was suppose to be rain and thunder, but it wasn't. In fact despite a few drops this morning, most of the day was sunny with a blue sky. I went for a walk. Actually two. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. The light was different and I took my camera.
I have been using my film camera a lot since I came to Nantes, but most of the pictures I take I use for a project I am currently working on. Here is some of the few I took in between, that doesn't have anything to do with work, some I just wanted to take.
Nantes with its old buildings somehow agrees very well with film.

Something About Another Place I Really Like!

Le Cercle Rouge is right next to my school, which is quite nice because it is such a nice little place to take a break, have a coffee and eat a croissant or other types of lunch. I love that it is always the same people who hang out there and that the bartender greets you in a familiar way when you order a coffee not to mention the colored espresso cups.

Le Pendule!

I love old industrial things and buildings and when I saw this beauty on our visit to Trentemoult I went a little crazy taking pictures. Today it serves as an art installation. Artist Roman Signer has made it into a pendulum as a symbol of buildings, which are naturally deteriorating.
