Erdbeer Abenteuer!

Yesterday we went to a berry farm in Brandenburg to pick strawberries and raspberries. It is the end of the strawberry season but we manage to find many underneath the leaves that had gotten so much sun they were almost burgundy and deliciously sweet.
It has been many years since I last did this summer activity and it was really fun. In between the two berries we had to take a little break in the shadow as the sun were beating down and it was so warm being in the fields.
Now we have the fridge full of strawberries and I wonder what kind of culinary ideas we are gonna use them for, or if they will all simply be eaten like that.
